@HiddenRainful Nah their not, I only now see after research they are angry for political reasons, not cultural ones. Both wise countries don't fight culturally.

@holkn Sadly, the Japanese really are angry at China, their jelous of their sucess and culture, martial art power, (chinese kung fu is the most powerful martial art in the world), ect. Japan also has its qualities, such as their technology advance. :)

Beautiful writing.

@holkn Actually, it was the other way round. Japan sent people to China to learn those skills. The Japanese during the Nara period to the Tang court to learn calligraphy, etc. Tang never really bothered to send anything in particular to Japan.
Whilst a lot of Japanese culture is based off Chinese culture, it's important to remember that japanese mannerisms and personal culture is completely different. Nearly all of Japanese culture that was once based off Chinese culture has completely changed.

even though i love calligraphy, I can never figure out what others are writing...
japanese writing is derived from Chinese. Chinese sent educators and buddist monks to Japan in Tang Dynasty to teach them how to cook, build, language, writing, religion, philosphy, culture. Japanese's writing system derived from Chinese Cursive Script, not to mention Kenji(Chinese Characters) that are part of the japanese language system
