i was part of the school that got the bot trashed, what the problem was is that the wedge in front/back was keeping the wheels just far enough off the ground to not allow for good traction, the funny thing is, is that the bot that got trashed got a complete remodel and took its second match, none of us on the team knew how, just that it won its second match after coming back from from the dead.

holy shit! at 3:04 the guy on the right is Peter Gabirel i don't know his last name but he built Ronin the super heavy weight. and the guy on the left with the bald head is the builder of Machadon, Snake, and The Master! Holy shit! i didn't realize that.

to @johnboyd7: they are attempting to get back in but it has been pushed back so many times it has simply gone back to being an event to go see. Other than this event, there are two others that have become national...RoboGames and Combots

Oh wow, I felt really sorry for the other guy - it looked like they were having serious radio problems or something because it wasn't moving half the time, including before they even first made contact.
