A Place Together - Part 1

I was walking down the hallway of Montinero University, passing a few people here and there. I turned a corner and looked over my shoulder in the direction I came, not really paying attention to what was going on. Suddenly, I felt someone grab me from behind, mid-step. The mystery person pulled me into a dark closet slapping their hand over me mouth, to keep me quiet. I started to panic, but couldn't go anywhere. Just as I thought the person was going to let me go, they pinned my back against the wall, still keeping my mouth covered. I felt their breath on my ear as they leaned against me and whispered.

"I was wondering when you'd walk by." My nerves relaxed as soon as I heard Joe's voice.

"You scared me!" I gasped. Joe's breathy chuckle filled my ear, sending chills down my spine. His soft lips pressed against my neck and I immediately took my bottom lip between my teeth.

"I missed you." Joe breathed, slowly running his lips down my neck, towards my collarbone.

"I-I missed you too." I stuttered breathlessly. Joe chuckled again before taking my skin between his teeth. I clenched down on my bottom lip harder than before, but a moan still managed to escape. Joe pulled away from my neck, smirking down at me.

"..really missed you.." He whispered. Before I could blink my hands were pinned above my head and Joe's lips smashed down on mine. The kiss was so much more than I was used to. It was full of lust. So much lust. I moaned into his mouth as I tugged my hands out of his grip. I was finally able to wrap my arms around his neck and tangle my fingers in his raven waves. I felt Joe's hand slowly slide up my leg causing goose bumps to form on my skin. His other hand rested on the back of my head, pulling me closer to him, intensifying the kiss. My hands slid down his neck, resting on his rock hard chest. He moaned into my mouth as my fingers carefully worked on unbuttoning his shirt. My fingers were soon free to explore his tanned skin, to feel the indentation of every muscle. His lips left mine and we both stood there our breathing heavy.

"I want you." Joe breathed, his voice low. My bottom lip was clenched between my teeth again before I smashed my lips back to his. Joe grinned against my lips and pulled me closer, but I couldn't lead him on. I placed my hands on his chest, gently pushing him away. His eyebrows pulled together as he gave me a confused expression. "What's the matter?" His voice was a low whisper as his breath hit me. I bit my lip and looked down.

"We can't... you know..." I shyly looked at him from under my eyelashes. He sighed and looked down
making me think he was angry with me. I also let my gaze drop to the floor, but my eyes landed on his left hand. I intertwined my fingers with his, looking at the shiny silver band around his finger. Suddenly, I felt his finger under my chin, lifting it up so my eyes met his. Surprisingly, he didn't seem to be angry. He looked understanding. Joe softly pressed his lips to mine before he pulled away and rested his forehead on mine.

"I know," he replied. "I know." He sighed and placed his hand on my cheek. "I just... get caught up," he explained, almost embarrassed. I blushed and bit my lip.

"Well, it's not like I was helping much." Joe chuckled quietly a shook his head, causing mine to move as well.

"No, no you weren't." He then pecked my lips once more before he stepped back and buttoned up his shirt. I felt my cheeks flush as I pushed a lock of hair behind my ear and looked down.

"Sorry about that." I giggled, slightly embarrassed.

"Don't be," Joe replied, pecking my cheek as he smoothed out his shirt. "I didn't mind too much." I couldn't help but laugh when he wiggled his eyebrows. A curious thought then popped into my head, causing me to look at Joe quizzically.

"Hey Joe?"

"Yeah?" He leaned his back against the door next to me, looking over at me. I tilted my head and looked over at him.

"How did you know where I'd be? I mean, I hope you weren't waiting in this tiny closet all day for me to walk by..."

"O-Oh..." Joe ran his hand through his hair, attempting to distract me from the subtle flush in his cheeks. "Well, remember last week when we were hanging out in your dorm room?" My eyebrows pulled together as I thought.

"Yeah..."

"Well, when you left the room for a minute, I saw your schedule, and I knew you'd have to come by here around 1:00, so I got here a little before you and thought I'd try to surprise you." He sucked in his cheeks before he cleared his throat. "I thought it'd be kinda... romantic? Romantic-ish?" His cheeks flushed a crimson red, but it was absolutely adorable.
