Bronchial Thermoplasty is a newly FDA approved treatment for adults with severe persistent asthma who have significant symptoms despite maximum medical therapy.

Treatment with Bronchial Thermoplasty has shown a 32% reduction in the rate of severe asthma attacks; a 66% reduction in the number of days lost from work, school or other daily activities; and an 84% reduction in ER visits for respiratory symptoms.
