Broken screen Creative Zen Mozaic EZ300

Within two months my Creative EZ300 has a broken screen.

I can't get warranty because Creative customer support said i have misused it and exposed it to a shock. Poor poor service...

@darkally21 I've never actually HAD to replace the battery to be sure, but maybe if you could get the battery OUT, you could show it to and ask a tech guy (my default tends to be Radio Shack) what kind of battery you could buy. Especially if it's the coin type. (To be honest, I don't remember what kind of battery is inside...)

But if it comes down to it, you could always opt for a refurbished player. Not as cheap as a battery, but not terribly expensive, either.

@darkally21 There should be videos on how. But you need somethign I believe is called a 'spudger', and you scrape at the sides (see that crease between the screen and the back, where the power button is? That's where), and it'll finally pop open, and then you get a replacement battery (google search, unsure what kind...) and replace the battery, and it should work okay afterwards.
