I love this saito engine
-
Yeah, clubmembers complained about the saito gassers too.
Seems saito made some mistakes in the haste to release a gasser engine. They modified a glow engine instead of a purpose build gas engine.

Rumors got round about valve sticking in the fg-36.Did you experience any kind of problems with your engine? What is the total runtime of yours?
Thanks in advance.

Returned it to horizon and got my money back. Turned out to be nothing but problems. Replaced it with a YS 1.40 and I am SOOOO happy I did. Read all the post on RC Universe on the FG-20

very nice engine, i also have one what comes in my P-51, just need it to brake in.
Isn´t the prop a bit too large? in the manual i read you had to take a light load prop as possible for brake in?

I had run it for 40 minutes with a smaller prop before making the video. I use a 15X8 apc. I am going to use a 16X4W apc on my funtana X100.
