"Daddy he's flippin' HUGE!" 10 1/2 lb large mouth

Fishing with my daughter and catching my largest bass to date. He went just over 10 1/2 lbs. He was a catch and release -- he should be over 13 - 15 lbs by spring or summer. Aaron Alejandro

No, didn't mount her. Threw her back. Hope someone else had has much fun as I. They have a wounded warrior fishing trip on the same lake, so I'm hopeful one of our great veterans caught that big ol' gal.

is that smallmouth? it doesnt seem to have the largemouth coloring. if so ,that is the biggest smallmouth ive seen

Yes sir, it was a large mouth. I'm sure we have some smallmouth in Texas, but I haven't had the pleasure of catching one. Heard they are addicting and fun to catch. I'm pretty much a bass or catfish guy. Okay, I like all fishing. Have fished the National Trout Derby in Livingston, Montana; northern pike near Canada; mahi mahi in Hawaii; muskees in the south; and reds/trout/flounder along the coast. Hard to beat a good time on the water.

Nice Fish man! I pulled out a 6 pounder this year, biggest one I've caught. I wouldnt know what to do w/ one that big lol. Congrats!

does my heart good to see a dad fishing with his daughter, my dad is always to busy to fish with me even though he wants to, you are doing a great thing by taking her fishing with you
