  • my corn snake is betwen 7 and 8 months old, it is curantly on 2 fluffs every 7 days if i tried for a 3rd mice to feed him and he took it, would it do him any harm?

Also what are the sizes of mice in order and corn snake can go though like pinkies then fuzzies etc....

  • @kaleluk31 What I usually do with all my snakes (which I usually always get as babies) is I start them on one pinkie every 6 days..From there once the snake starts to look a little bit longer and bigger..i move them up to two pinkies every six days..then i move to one fuzzie every six days..then 2 fuzzies every six days..then one hopper..then two..then a small mouse every 7 to 8 days..once you get to a full grown mouse, your snake should be able to go about 10 days inbetween feedings.

  • hi is a heating rock fine for the baby corn snake :)

  • @luca69ist : Noo!! Heating rocks are very bad for any snake! They are a very unpredictable device that causes burns to many different snakes. Instead of a heat rock I would say go with a Under Tank heater (also make sure to get a thermostat to control it) under tank heaters work much better then heat rocks as they are more dependable and can be controlled with a thermostat.

  • how do kids handle corn snakes

  • Depends on the age of the child and how the child is around certain animals..My niece has been handling my snakes since she was 6 years old and has always acted well and treated them with respect.
