@AndrewBrokenBones lol that would definitely be annoying as hell :O if you are replacing that board soon I'd check out the MSI 790XT G45 I just got this board a little over a month ago, that is if your still using DDR2 lolz other then that it had everything I wanted (AM3 X6 Support, 2 x16 2.0 PCI-Es 16G of DDR2 support) Good luck with your new board I'd replace that Sapphire one asap lolz.

@AndrewBrokenBones Turn Off the Cool & Quiet Feature in the bios thats most likely your cause for the 800MHz, C&Q when the systems idle will down clock the system including your video cards, so unless you want that turn it off in the bios....
