ninja,
many domainers out there and even some of the top domainers are lawyers, doctors, etc. They domain because they love to do it and have a passion for it, yes money is part of it but it is not the only reason why we love domaining.

I'm not the author of course, but I buy and sell domains also. I would guess that a big reason is because you can leverage your time and make an income this way. Since there's millions of domains, you can only spend so much time yourself domaining.

i have a question...and if u can answer it ill buy ur book. --If you are so smart about domaining and u guys are making so much money off of it...why did you have to resort to putting together a book about domaining and selling it?

Hi,
Ninjaturtlehead. When I was actively practicing law, I also taught law at the local university. So, not only can I do, but I can teach. I not only invest in domain names, I also invest in real estate (although I sold most everything in 2005-2006). I also like investing in trust deeds and mortgages. It's called multiple streams of income, not keeping all your eggs in one basket, and the enjoyment from helping others.
