@jusmeig Well I do not have a lot of experience but was that really fault of the price? could you say what is really worth to buy so I can slepp calmly at night in -20 and in a wind like this one?

I think a low profile 1 man tent, even a cheap one with a bivvy bag and good sleeping bag and you'd be sorted

This video blew me away.
I've often thought about going up mountains in extreme conditions thinking it would be a breeze, but this has definitely brought me down a peg or two. Sorry this post is a bit long-winded because I'm rambling, so I'll stop now...

Well we think about 100mph gusts, it got worse as the night went on! The tent was 12years old and the stiching was weak after so many years of camping in harsh sunlight etc.
