This one minister was one of the worst one of the fifth republic of France. Here she answers to a question that has absolutely nothing to do with her answer (the question being asked was about the dangers for free software that the new "Hadopi" scheme will pose).

I'm french too, and you just have to see her 2 seconds on TV to understand she doesn't know a damn crap about computers

JE SUIS TOU A FAIT DACCORD !

[continuing]
For example: we at the Ministry have an Open Source Software called Open Office, and there is true enough a security software, which indeed prevents the Ministry of Culture from accessing... of course! And Open Source Software editors provide firewalls. They even provide free firewalls, so that point is groundless, that is what I wanted to say.

My translation (please improve):
Regarding the Open Source Software case: of course open source software... of course when one buys software, for example Microsoft Pack Office - that is not open source - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, of course there are firewalls - I've just told it - there are security softwares; but on Open Source Software you can also have firewalls, which besides... but quite certainly...

It's because French deputee voted for a anti-warez law and this woman is responsible for it :(
See how our minister is reliable in their domain -_-
Honnestly, I'm french, and I don't understand what she's trying to say... but she is not smart...
