  • This operation is very risky, & leave a scar on eye-lid, which is the thinnest skin on human body. Better use Tri-chroro Acetic Acid (TCA) treatment. The affected part is surrounded by liquif paraffin, & a 35 to 50 % soln of TCA is applied on the affected part, rinsed after 15 mnts. The process is repeated for 10 to 15 seatings depending on fat solidification. Safe,sure & painless but needs patience & skill.

  • These xanthelesma tend to be recurrent. Perhaps tis better to do do electrodessication since repeated skin excision may cause lid distortion
