i feel like im going to cry. i would love another season! i like how the cap morphs into whatever the cap bearer percieves it to be. it makes mote since. and now max has a chancebto save his friends and end skullmaster from the start which means he might not fail school as i imagined he missed serveral days!
-
The cap is really a crown??? ...Oh boy, now I've seen everything.

I do think it suggests a loop of sorts though. perhaps not endless, but a number of them for sure.
-
@College Joe: The ending doesn't suggest an endless loop. Max gets to start over again and this time he has foreknowledge of events.

@gordonbressack I was a HUGE fan of the series and toys. I felt wronged by this show after investing so much time with it. It's one thing if the enemy was a goofy character, but the bad guy was a real dick. And I'm sure I can speak for every fan that we wanted justice for Virgil and Norman's death. This was a very emotional finale and watching it infuriates me that we have an 'infinite' story without a real end.

@Lobster222 Seriously! That was some damn good voice acting.
This finalé, which I've watched several times now, always brings me to tears of both sadness and joy. MM is a shining gem of just how good children's animation can be when it's not beleaguered by political correctness and is allowed intelligent plot development. MM stands alone in its unflinching portrayal of evil, and the episode The Axeman Cometh always stuck with me from childhood in its emphasis on the reality of violence and death. A standing ovation for all involved in MM is well deserved.

@gordonbressack A HUGE THANK YOU Goes out to everyone involved with the Mighty Max cartoon show-- All the writers, all the voiceover actors, all the animators & artists. I grew up watching this show every day after school (when it was in syndication) and loved this show back then. I am still impressed when re-watching the show now (I am going to be 29 next month). In my heart, the show will always be top notch & its a shame its not been officially released on DVD.
