  • @spudinator1 and you're also less than 5 grn/# so if you crack your limbs, its all your fault. oh, and check your math, you've only got 78 ft lbs.

  • What rest are you using? I have the QAD Ultra rest Hunter hich is the $60 one and I'm worried about fletching clearance for my 82nd. Any recomendations?

  • i shoot a pse bow madness xs im a noob still so its set at 50 pounds and 29 inch draw my arrows are a 340 grain like i said im still new with it i shot a bow about 8 years ago and i only shot my new bow 3 times but its great really smooth, no anomiles(sorry if i spell stuff wrong) that threw the bow off im not sure what feet per second it is look up on youtube "PSE BOW MADNESS XS" and it tells you the fps for different settings thanks for the video man keep them coming

  • I agree. you also want a shootable bow in the woods as well. midwest whitetails. But speed means nothing. kinetic energy is everything. im shooting a Mathews z7 at 26.5 in draw and im pushing 277fps at 72lbs with a easton axis 400 n fused carbon 400gr arrow with a 125gr magnum strikers. 68ft lbs of KE

  • yeah my bowtech 82nd airborne shoots 333fps @ 29 inch @ 70# with a 343grain arrow(84.5 ft lbs) it also had a very smooth draw and sharp let-off

  • I have a Liberty VFT shooting at 270fps, 27 inch draw, 70lbs. and has really no hand shock at all. And the arrow trajectory is very straight with the drop away rest I use. I'm sure this bow is much the same.

  • My bow tech gardian shoots 293fps with easton axis 400 arrows and I blew through both shoulders of a doe last year so how much speed do you really need. I would rather have a smooth consistant shooting bow than speed. I have also won alot of 3D tourneys with the same bow and nobody has ever asked how fast my bow was.

  • speed is a plus, but quiet and accuracy counts the most. lots of manufactures have that.

    how do you decide?

    reputation, quality, ect...

    try them out yourself.

  • What did the general shoot, like 308? My captain shoots 301 fps with a 410 grain arrow. There is nothing more you could need for speed especially with how smooth it is.

  • ill say this. as long as you feel confortable with everything on the bow. but its important with draw length
