  • Yeah like the others said.. Split your scene up. In the anim I am rendering now, my sky dome is rendered seperately, and because it's just fluffy clouds, it doesn't need as many anti-aliasing passes as the foreground. Then composite your layers together with a Compositor. I use Vision, but you can use LW to comp one layer at a time for free.. T'would be slow and tedious for complexly layered projects tho.

  • If you have any extra computers around the house you can create a network and combine the ram. I forget exactly how to do it, but look it up.

  • Proper light setup can save a lot of time.

  • the only way i know of is to either set the passes to 1 and perhaps changing the settings if you don't need the corresponding effect and you could also get more RAM which should help.

  • is there a way to make rendering much faster in Lightwave ?

  • I sure if you add the joints and converted it to respond to controls, it could be used

  • Is this made only for CGI or can it be used as an actual playable object in a video game?
