Part One. Better than the original! Also featuring the sword-fighting, dueling warriors. 48 Hour Film Project short film.
Finally, for the first time! See the complete version of this classic!
First seen in America in 2004, This is the restored version of the classic Samurai movie, Shou Dou Tu Mit Gung. Popular lore suggests that the literal English translation is "The Bad Samurai Film," meaning, a movie about an evil warrior.
However, The Canadian/American/International board re-titled this version, "At Midnight, The Dragon Rises in the Moon." Apparently the varied film commissioners felt the accurately translated title gave the wrong impression.
However, it features the top stars of the day in the region, with top-notch acting, fighting, period sets and costumes, and special effects. At least that's what the scrap included in the film can said.
Dubbing by Mikey.
