This is my binoscope that I have making during 3 years. It is not finished but operational. The primaries diameter are 400mm (15.5") and the focales are 1900mm.
The eyepieces, Nager 22 with Paracorr, give 100x magnification for 50 arc minutes field. The focus and IPD are motorized and memorized for 32 users. The type of the mount is altazimutal, motorized in futur with personal GOTO (1500 objects) and tracking. For carriing the scope, there are two movable carriages. The total weight is about 200 kg. For finding objects, there is an optical finder and an reflex HUD. The looking throught this instrument is ABSOLUMENT fabulous!!!

  • 1. it is much more comfortable to observe the sky with both eyes

    2. we see a pseudo relief

    3. we see more details in the observed objects

  • Great scope. Don't pay attention to the haters -- or more specifically, to people who don't understand your passion. A lot of people like to complain about things they have never witnessed first-hand. For example, some people say it's not worth getting a large telescope if you live in a place with bad seeing. Most of these people have never looked through a large aperture, quality instrument.
