So there was a recall on these cars? Man I would of been upset if this was my car burning up. Usually you would never get any problems from some of the cars that GM will make but if Pontiac was such a good line why did they stop making them also. I remember some people in my family had them and they were good cars but they stopped making them.

This fire started after the car was parked for several minutes if that helps.

Three weeks before, this GT had "09047 Engine Compartment Fire Campaign Recall Completed Per GM" by the dealership.
