Honda Chopper

We acquired a CM400 that had a huge dent in the gas tank, and the rest of it looked like it was beaten with an ugly stick, but it ran good.

So we decided to completely rethink the whole bike, the Engine, and Rear Wheel are stock items, just about everything else has been fabricated/transplanted. The Front end is from a Harley Narrow Glide.
Frame is a mini-chopper unit made with 1" DOM tubing, then reinforced extensively (our first time building one, so we over-built it), to handle the 400cc engine.

You can't see it in the video, but there is a 1" solid hex piece welded to the front of the frame, drilled and tapped on the ends with 3/8" holes for mounting the forward controls.
Since the video was filmed it has been assembled further, it will fire up, and drive wherever you would like to go. The next phase will be making finishing touches to the rear fender struts, then we have to completely disassemble the bike, clean, and paint all of the metal parts, frame, fenders, and gas tank.

The area where you can see the yellow strap, there is now a stainless steel box that houses the electronics, and battery. I'll make another video of it driving around the parking lot, soon. (unpainted)
