Molitvu proliyu ko Gospodu,
i Tomu vozvesch'u pechali moya,
yako zol dusha moya ispolnisya,
i zhivot moy adu priblizhisya,
i molyusya yako Iona:
ot tli, Bozhe, vozvedi mya.

I'll shed the prayer to Lord,
and I'll declare to him sorrows of mine,
thou my soul is full of evils,
and my life is close to hell,
and I pray like Jonah:
from the corruption, God, restore me.

P.S.: This aria is written for concert performance only. Because Orthodox worship does not allow using instruments.
