Glad to see that you censor speech. And we weren't in Vietnam to "oust" the Soviets. How do you "oust" the Soviets when the Republic of Vietnam was its own country and we never even tried to invade the north. Think of the whole domino theory. So not "ousting" but instead to stop a domino from falling.

I don't "censor" speech. The fact your comment is even on here is proof of that. And to say "we weren't in Korea to oust the Soviets" is like saying we didn't storm the beaches of Normandy to oust the Nazi's. The Soviets tried to capture the Korean government and turn it into a Communist Republic. The "domino theory" was that if they succeeded, Russia would do the same to other nations until we were "surrounded by Communist countries". (What does this have to do w/ this vid?)

In 1944/45, under a Democrat (Harry Truman), the U.S. supported, supplied and paid soldiers of the Viet Minh and "Uncle Ho", because at the time it was convenient and useful to U.S. aims in the region.

The point is that the liberals whine about the U.S. fighting Saddam after supporting him, and blame that on Bush. Yet they hypocritically ignore that Democrats in the past have committed the same actions. BTW we did not go to VietNam to oust the Soviets, we went to VietNam to stop the Viet Minh from taking over the South. There was never any effort to remove the Soviets or the Chicoms who were both supplying the north.

Perhaps you need to read the description below the video (particularly the first 7 words). And claiming we weren't in Vietnam because of the Soviets is like claiming we weren't in France because of the Germans. And again, no one ever claimed Vietnam might attack us.
