i met conor in berlin after a show recently, where he was really cool but in no way arrogant (or a dickhead)..
by the way, take a listen to the first VU record (i'm sure you own that one!!) -> would you ever say that lou reed can't sing after hearing pale blue eyes??

where did you see The Thrills? i'm so jealous I've never seen them live. I'm from Australia and they aren't known well here. i only found out about Them from that LIVE 8 DVD. So if they have toured here i wouldn't have known.

He called Bob Geldof "Beb Geldof" and they look back and laugh at it - I agree that it doesn't really matter about "Ronnie Woods". I think if the song was played at a slower tempo or at the tempo of the studio recording his singing would have been better, but he is a great singing and have seen them live twice and the whole band was top quality.

like one extra "s" matters dickhead.let me say, any guy who can play harmonica and sing as well, has fucking lung power. Conor can sing 100 times better than you.hes got a beautiful voice and the musicianship of the band is excellent. sure their lyrics aren't fantastic but the music is.
