Being a 450, it was never going to be very fast. It was a free bike that was saved from the junkyard that I saw as something I could make my own. So that's why it was chopped up. Wanted my own look. And being loud helped too. Being loud is always good when near drivers who never look around ;)

@ remirock - no, we didn't touch the frame other than cutting off the back part of the frame under the passenger part of the seat that almost every bobber builder does. with the shocks removed, the frame sat right down on top of the swingarm, which we were able to use to our advantage by welding them together to make a (possibly?) unique hardtail.

it was a fun project. i lost it in a move, but am looking to make another one soon. want something bigger this time though, like a cb750 or similar. or i may just take a stupidly cheap 250 or so and do the same thing ;)

does it bother to cut off the frame like that? ... for me its no but.. youv did it ? the bike not end like a puzzle loll thx alot nice bike dude

thanks, nah, it didn't bother it at all. i only a couple hundred miles out of it before the carb boots busted from the weight of the carbs. i shoulda made a better bracket to hold them up after removing the airbox. ah well...

Nice bike .. i have a question... do you seem to lose power with the straight pipes?

i wouldn't know cause we pretty much cut the pipes before we had it ridable. it definitely had some power though
