yeah, but even with a great lawyer, judge Fitwater was ready to send her to a mental institution. if Nora and Viki didn't make one last plea, having the best attorney wouldn't have worked.

IMO I think the judge did a good job of weighing both sides. She was concerned mainly with whether or not Viki was a danger to herself and others.

David was barely recognizable, due to his demeanor, I like the old David compared to the over comical goofball we see today.
