See Patti Wood's body language expertise in action on the Live Today show on CNN, aired on October 14, 2005. In this segment entitled "Every Body Talks", the topic of discussion is the
examination of the body language of a leader with a low approval rating, in this case, President George W. Bush. Patti discusses how body language is a more accurate detector than words of how someone feels, often with over 10,000 cues per minute. Analysis of video clips of President Bush reveal the meaning of gestures such as extensive eye blinking, chopping hand motions, back slapping, turned up corners of the mouth, and his well known 'Texas Swagger' walk.

  • And more on-topic, you can tell from the tone of this interview how much America had soured on Bush. No need to actually look at the man to see that...

  • The old (first) American Morning set that was moved to CNN Atlanta HQ once AM moved to the streetside studio.

    Random info, I know...

  • This was CNN? Wow, CNN today is much different. They've gotten so.. what's the word.. boring.

  • Can we have Patti analyse the Presidential candidates BEFORE they are elected next time? Excellent!
