could we please put aside this silliness of the extra added "a" for the title of Yogananda's name?? Every thing I go to here has someone commenting on this. I find it quite funny,as I am sure Master would too! Do you think He would really care? Please let this silliness go. And yes, I know the story behind it and the respectful title and so forth. It is still quite silly all of this back and forth. If you all want to truly honor Him, then give up this ridiculous rivalry.

@onthisroad I believe it may be her- acording to Wikipedia, she was born in 1906 and died in 1988. She even toured India as a dancer in 1947, then stayed 15 years to study meditation & mysticism(her Yogananda conection?). Check out her website for rare photos.

he has such a grace about him, such a beauty. Thanks for posting this. I've read many of his books, it's lovely to see that he really did exist, just in another time. Reading his books make him seem eerily omnipresent. peace

I'm so thankful to have discovered this rare footage- something told me to search "Yogananda" here on Youtube. I discovered his works about 3 years ago("Autobiography Of A Yogi"/"Man's Eternal Quest") and was simply blown away by what I was reading. The enigma is that an Indian spritural teacher came to this country in the early 20th century to teach true Christian principals to a "Christian" nation. There was a divine, beautiful light in his smile!
