Practice run starting from 2-1.

Pretty sloppy but I'm still learning I guess. 2-5 went really bad but the worst part was me flat out forgetting to press the hyper button at that very last moment on Hibachi. If I -did- hyper I would have instantly won.

  • So, question. Aside from getting more hypers and not resetting the life counter at the second loop, what other changes does the Black Label version make? I'm curious as to why you and Sapz seem to only play the Black Label version.

  • @Giest118 Well just that really. Other differences are that normal rank raises slower while hyper rank raises faster. Rank drop after dying and bombing is much higher and there are very slight subtle changes in patterns. It also fixes a few bugs like the hyper gauge raising properly now.

Really, BL is more of an improved and easier version of WL.

  • @Jaimers91 What's the bug with the WL hyper gauge? I've been trying to figure this one out.

  • @KlLLAH573 There was an unspecified bug with hyper refills and you wouldn't get a bonus hyper gauge when using autofire.

  • Did you played this on MAME or in a real cab? Very impressive!

  • That was very enjoyable.

  • ...That was pretty darn good. You really should just go for a 2-ALL already.

  • @SnakeEater7771 For some people, it can take months. For others like me, 1-2 years. I'm not even at 50% of this guy's level either, but I've played to the point that I can recognize these patterns as do-able, and do pretty well in normal and hard levels. Insane and Nightmare levels are quite beyond my reach. Jaimer has been playing for years as well, and a variety of different games too.

  • Impressive.

  • Great run. You could totally do that 2-ALL
