Since the July revolution failed, ten years later in1848 the European spring happened and that one was successful. It fully established the rights of the people in France.

@pilchard96 you don't know what "fascism" means. You can't even spell it. Fascism was more along the lines of the occupy movement. FDR praised Mussolini. Yes this was a song, adapted from the play, adapted from the book, set in the French Revolution. The student rebellion was a failure. It was an attempt to install socialism. The movement was socialist; the song is not. Where in the lyrics does it say share the wealth or "from each according to his ability"; it doesn't even mention class
