The excellent Berlage Saxophone Quartet won a well-earned stipendium at this week's Deutscher Musikwettbewerb in Berlin. Their gripping performance of theTwee Koralen by Klaas de Vries was, in my humble opinion, one of the true highlights of the competition - these very commanding musicians deserves genuine attention indeed!
I am very impressed - to say the least!
