dude, do you know what your talking about ? Siamese algae eaters LOOOOOVE the slime on the skin of goldfish. They try to eat it by hanging onto the goldfish. And here is the worst part, when there isnt enough slime left for the goldfish itself, it gets infected and then it dies. Soooo... siamese algae eaters?...Nah.

guys if you really wanna know good tankmates here there are danios/minnows,sunfishes,perch­es(if they dont fit in there mouths),grasscarps, koi,babysturgeonsand snails tho sturgeon and grasscarp do get big but stay the size of there tank oh and breams same with caution about perches

Nice Explanation but you are confusing the Siamese Algae eater for the Chinese Algae Eater, The Chinese are notorious for eating up slime coats when they become older. Siamese on the other hand continues to eat algae/veggies/ and scraps throughout it's life.
