Great job Ken...he loved this song. He was a unique and special man who knew himself, loved his work, his family and nature. With virtually no art training, he supported his family and received much recognition during his lifetime. He was living proof that when you do something you love to do - it really is a 'wonderful world.' I miss him...
Adding to my comments below, I also love your music choice to accompany this montage: "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong! A beautiful song, for a beautiful montage, by his beautiful son, Ken-E!
A very moving tribute to a fantastic artist by a terrific son who took the time! Incredible to have painted for, and to be acknowledged by the Kennedy's! Whew, that alone is a career pinnacle and tribute to your dad's talent! I LOVE all these pictures--so unique, wonderful, colorful, and a beacon of 1950s/1960s style. (The gal in the leapord bathing suit could have been in DC Massage- LOL!) Your dad is smiling now!
Your father was from Quakertown? PA?
I was watching Bobby eulogize MLK Jr. and linked here from there.
I salute you for this tribute to your father.
I am sure he is proud and appreciative of this effort.
Great stuff! I enjoyed this very much and learned something about someone I didn't know in the process because you posted this.
