i've never heard "over my shoulder with guitar. also without mika playing on piano. still so amazing. he must feel so exposed singing such a personal song in front of everyone, without a piano to hide behind.

What a stunning performance, haunting, breath-taking. Everything was perfect: Mika's singing, Martin's singing, Martin's guitar, Luke's keys and the audience's atmosphere. Thank you so much for sharing.

@KAT1998 I wouldn't call it "tolerate"... seeing as I think this is one of his best ...

I love the dissonance in this song. beautiful

I want to say that the atmosphere Mika has created for this song is great!! feel so lonely but peaceful, at the same time U can feel the cold. An absolute harmony is not important fot this piece!
-
i agree.... but the dissonant harmony has a beautiful resolution with the "Cold..Dry"
its a lovely resolution and the higher harmony, being sung by Martin, compliments mikas part so much
-
Now I'm sharing my opinion :-)
I think the reason some people don't like this song is because it's sung almost completely in falsetto, and there is some dissonant harmony. However you can clearly see his talent from listening to this, he has worked on his voice for years, and if you don't like the song, at least appreciate the talent.

amy i remember us looking at eachother like :| while he was singing this AHHHHHH so amazing

one the best moments of that night!!thank u!
Disclaimer: I like Mika, by the way. I also think he´s a really cool performer.
But...
I think this is one of the worse songs on the album and this performance totally sucks. It´s amazing how much fans will tolerate from their favourite musicians.

Well that's your opinion which is fine. This song was one of my least favourites on the album but I thought his perfomance was amazing, obviously or I wouldn't have put this video up but anyway. Every note he sang was perfect nothing was out of tune. It was such a perfect performance one of the best of the night. This is now probably one of my favourite songs on the album now. I'm off now I thought I'd share my opinion too :) so yeh bye x
