I have decided to spend the next year donating the proceeds of my music (CD, iTunes, and Merchandise sales, as well as Performance fees) to the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. As we all know Cancer is an overwhelming disease that will affect every person's life in one way or another and we are hoping to not only help raise money for the cause but also raise awareness in our society. My own mother has battled cancer, as well as a few family members and close friends. my johnn♥, god i love him so much:'( all these years of being together..hes too young to get cancer or start seeing the signs,,why him:( i cant stand the thought of something getting in the way of our life together when its only just begun..nothings fair, but i can promise i will be there holding his hand through everything, he can make it through this i know he can, thank you so much for this video, it has helped me find some strengthh to stay strong for him while he with goes testing://

As a cancer survivor this song and the signs in it are all so true. Its been a year since my confirmed remission but am reminded everyday of the battle I faced and am terrified it will come back. Treatment was aggressive as it was in the last stage of the disease, nearly died twice but am still here and will keep fighting for those who have lost this battle.

We lost a very special person this week to colon cancer. Her name is Tricia Creasy and she was the woman behind the phrase "Fight like a girl"....She fought for 6 years and i was honored to have met her....She was a very special person full of life and hope and never giving up the fight...There are so many reason why we relay...Maybe one day cancer will be a thing of the past,until then.....We will continue to Relay, For one day maybe my grandchildren will not know what it feels like to have it!

I am glad to see that there are other people out there that truly care about important issues like this..My dad's best friend is battling cancer and.My first song that my sister and I wrote 3 weeks ago is about issues in america and we are donating the proceeds to a shelter they are building for homeless families. I feel good that my talent can be used for something other than profit. I can walk away and say that maybe I made a difference in one person's life. please listen to my song.
