my first solo jump.

the entire reason to go through the AFF/IAF training -- to be able to do as I like whilst up in the sky.

it was UNBELIEVABLY rad, and that's pretty evident by the perma-smile I have going on.
where it looks like I'm out of control -- that's actually pretty fun and it never felt like it was uncontrollable.

best thing ever!!!
-- well, until the next one!

  • Steph, you were a true inspiration to me during my recent AFF course. I had issues with nerves on a jump and seeing you overcome all that helped me immensely.

Plus the fact that you look so cute!

  • @The85pHotpot Wow!! Thanks!! I'm super glad I helped, for sure. I LOVE jumping and would do anything to help someone have just as much fun!!! Keep it up -- it just keeps getting better. Yay! :)

  • Wow!! I just watched your Aff level 6- fail video, and I was thinking you looked stressed, scared and insecure (No offence). And then I klicked this video.U had an amazing developement in only a few jumps. Here video you look relaxed, confident, and youre enjoying every minute of your jump, just like youre supposed to. You were great! Even confident enough to try a backflip, frontflip AND a barrel roll! :D Hurray for you!! Hows your jumping now? (Seeing this is from 2009 I'm just wondering...) :D

  • @littleladyhalo awwww.... thanks so much for such nice comments. I didn't get stressed much to jump, but rather to pull it all off, when I was doing AFF and still when I am on a complicated RW. no offense taken at all. that was my first attempt at a front flip and I was really thinking about it hard -- behind that cheesy smile. still jumping as much as I can. got my B in May and just put together a 4-way RW team with some other ladies at the same level. thanks!! :)

  • So from your first jump, it's not a tandem? I'd love to learn more about the AFF procedure. Message me?

  • That was awesome to watch!!!

  • @ShimmeeGrrl...Most excellent. Jump went so smoothly I take the landing was perfect too. Keep up the good work.

  • @ShimmeeGrrl :) I can relate to what you're saying! I did my AFF this spring, and I was sooo nervous. Not so much about jumping, but I was nervous about being able to remember everything my instructors told me to do at the different levels, and doing it right.. Level 6 was super scary though! But,I got my A-licence in july, working on my B-license now. And,I was also just contacted about joining a 4-way rw team! :) If I'm ever in the US,let's do some jumps! :D Blue skies "Shimmee",and stay safe! :)

  • @LeanderRandom thanks. that was my first front flip attempt. got some stellar ground coaching before going up and still am amazed that I pulled it off, given how monstrously huge that rig was on me! :)

  • @ShimmeeGrrl Wow great jump! I loved that perfect roll at 2:46 :)
