2009 WIHS Grand Prix Jump-Off

It's ironic but the Animal Planet sponsored neon green monster vertical proved to be the undoing of many of the 29 horse and rider teams at the 2009 Washington International Horse Show President's Cup Grand Prix. This was a difficult course by Guilherme Jorge of Brazil, and it stimied his countryman Rodrigo Pessoa along with other veterans of show jumping like McLain Ward and Margie Engle. This left only three to compete in the jump-off for the $100,000 prize. The winner was Todd Minikus with Alaska, followed by Kate Levy with Lirving du Volsin, and Mario DesLauriers and Vicomte D.

He's a gelding. Somebody did ride a stallion in the grand prix but I forget who.

hi umm ur description is wrong. it would be ironic if the monster vertical DIDN'T cause the undoing b/c its huge. its expected that it DID cause the undoing b/c its 5'3"!!!!
