Alaska Airlines flight 715

Service to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

GATE PHX: 10
GATE arrival SEA: D12

Seat: 29F
Date: March 17th, 2007

Departed 1:16p.m.
(Boeing) McDonnell Douglas MD-80

This was the start of my trip home for spring break from school at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. This was also my first time flying on Alaska Airlines. My first and last time flying on the MD-80 with Alaska. At least I can say I've flown on a piece of history with this great Seattle based airline. The weather wasn't that great but it made for interesting film making for this landing. Hope you all like it!

Also the flight attendants were great, shout out to the awesome flight crews of Alaska Airlines, your service surpasses all the rest. The flight attendants on this flight were really nice and made jokes and made my first flight with Alaska Air. a memorable one to boot. Listen for a boom at 6:30 that was a drink cart that came loose right next to our seat during slow down after we landed.

  • Oh, forgot to say: I took Alaska PHX-SEA in October, 2003, saw and met Rick Yune at the PHX terminal. For those who don't know, he played baddie Johnny Tran on the first "The Fast & The Furious". He's a real genuine guy, very intelligent, respectable, made it a great flight.

  • Obviously an MD-80: split non-slot flaps, no "canoe" flap guides, but they're still great planes. Landed on what was then 16R, now 16C. Every homecoming to Seattle is a treat, regardless of day, night, sun, rain, snow, anything. I'd rather not be on an Airbus, personally, but still...love seeing Seattle glide by on final. Thanks for sharing!

  • Alaska Airlines is decent...just as long as their maintenance workers lubricate the equipment correctly!!!!!!!

RIP Alaska Flight 261. Those pilots fought valiantly.

  • well hen you do it will be a great experiance when we were flying over wyoming they had art they did in their crops from the tractors.

and you get to see so many mountains.

  • Got it, Thanks! Next time I fly, i'll give it a shot.

  • MSP-SEA SEA-MSP
