Oh, forgot to say: I took Alaska PHX-SEA in October, 2003, saw and met Rick Yune at the PHX terminal. For those who don't know, he played baddie Johnny Tran on the first "The Fast & The Furious". He's a real genuine guy, very intelligent, respectable, made it a great flight.

Obviously an MD-80: split non-slot flaps, no "canoe" flap guides, but they're still great planes. Landed on what was then 16R, now 16C. Every homecoming to Seattle is a treat, regardless of day, night, sun, rain, snow, anything. I'd rather not be on an Airbus, personally, but still...love seeing Seattle glide by on final. Thanks for sharing!

Alaska Airlines is decent...just as long as their maintenance workers lubricate the equipment correctly!!!!!!!
RIP Alaska Flight 261. Those pilots fought valiantly.
