@DARKZOWNKILLA He's just stateing what he has seen and his views on it. You sound like you have kids of you're own and are annoyed at them, rather than weatherman. Perhaps concentrate on yourself and the root of your anger before others.

@HHthinktank too true i studied horticulture i know about these things

piss off mate and just who are you accusing of curbing children into bad directions, what did you have a bad experience with your parents... , when you GROW UP and have kids of your own you'll realize that its ruff being a parent you do all that you can and still if they want to be a little shit they just go ahead like you and rebel non-consistent to their upbringing try directing your miss-placed anger on things that actually matter like your "spiritual" journey if you even know what it is

Thanks for this message it was very powerful and really made me think about how I was raised and think now.

So it's abuse to allow a child to grow up in society, rather than a Hobbesian state of nature? All logic aside, your view is impossibly impractical. Manipulation will always be there, whether good or bad. The extent to that may vary, but who is to say that it isn't a good thing?

I loved my children enough to respect their RIGHT to be WHO THEY WERE. It is the same unconditional love of The Universe. They weren't here 'for me' they are here for THEM. But, and it is a big but related to the flower analogy....WEEDS ARE REAL. Think about weeds. Weeds can strangle a flower.
Back in my High School year I had a class that were dealing with plants. Before I gathered the plants to grow them for like 5 months I began talking in my mind saying. I began talking how beautiful my plant will become, and how I become one with the plants. The unthinkable happend after that. My plants were the most beautfiul in the class, and the handicapped people who I hang out had also very beautiful flowers. A girl even stole one of my flowers because the whole class couldnt grow nothing

To use your own over drawn-out analogy against you, a flower grown in nature will not grow as well as one carefully cultivated and fertilized.
