Wrong :P Obviously you haven't seen much CCR.

He was up there doing it, and having a ball. And swinging a Kickarse axe. I take my hat off to him. Hope he's still out there rockin. Nice little feel good clip. Take care all

the solo sounds fine for the style of music. remember, shred is not always/ever appropriate for every type of music. if they slapped yngwie guitar solos on every rock song ever made, I'd be listening to country and rap.

@thevidiotkid No i have a web page still capture of a '61, the photo shows a kauffman vibrato and a 2 o'clock f hole.
-
james burton played a rick,like this in a few eps of ossie an harriet,also played an accoustic rick on the show
-
Floyd Rose model. Note the "f" hole...

Check out 'Edge' of U2 sometime on his RIC. h:)

sounds like my lead guitarist XD

Christ he looks like he's playing a super-early fat-body/Capri-style 325...thing would be worth like 10k now.

it wasn't that bad!

@MisterDanceMachine thanks for clearing that up for me
shredding ??? all 5 mis~fretted notes ???? Yes, it's from 1960 but it's also far from "shredding" and more like clumsily plunking & poking :D

He sure sucks hard! John Hall is lucky the Beatles came along to make Rickenbacker famous, or he would be on welfare right now :)

Never liked the 325. Short scale makes tuning problems and it sounds like a toy. Nice old film is nice to see.
