We need to insert Inventor parts into Autocad Plant 3d. Could you come up with a SOLUTION AS EARLY AS POOSSIBLE? I appreciate your urgent help in advance. Please put up a video that shows how to insert "iges" "stp" etc (industry standard 3d) into Autocad Plant 3d.Is there any other way so that we can insert these iges/ stp from autodesk Inventor into Autocad Plant 3d without any data loss? I've lots of tanks vessels & other process equipments to be inserted from Inventor & ProE etc,
@benjooles, if you create your P&IDs in AutoCAD P&ID and enter the vessel tags, then AutoCAD Plant 3D can use that information to fill in the data on the 3D model. No need to enter data in two places.
