Detana!! Twinbee - level 1

Released in the arcades in 1991 by Konami. The music for the game was done by none other than Michiru Yamane, Konami's go-to composer for Castlevania games ever since Symphony of the Night (although she had composed the excellent soundtrack for Castlevania Bloodlines even before that). This track from the first level gives me a warm feeling inside whenever I listen to it.

Nice music. Too bad the game is such a quarter cruncher. The ship's rate of fire and movement speed are just too wimpy to deal with the onslaught of enemies in this game. The sequel (Twinbee Yahhoo) is so much easier.
