ok i know this trick... figured it out myself long ago. but i wna know this. is it possible to run 2 sound cards simultaneously? like for eg. skype lets u choose the sound card therefore ur other shit uses ur default 1. but is there a media player for that,that for example if i wanted to watch a movie on dual screen or maybe play music while in a game,i could?,i know sum of u are gna say it defeats the purpose but i still wna know plz... ill kiss any1 that can figure this out lol...

i have a problem with my laptop which has vista, when im listening to something on itunes or have a window open which has a media video or sound playing or on pause and open a new window with another media like youtube videos, i am not able to hear the sound coming from the new window. pretty strange, can anybody help?

i really need some majoy help i cannot get my sound working ihave the hardware working but when i go to control pannel and go to printers and other hardware and go to sounds speaches and audio devices
and go to volume control all it says is there are no active mixer devices available but it says ihave to install sound device and i have to go to add hardware but, i already did and my speakers still dont work i really need help

Hi cherished1961uk,
a karaoke mic has greater dynamic range than a mike use for pc chat. Because of this it needs special electronics to drive it. Typical control boxes you can use to connect the karaoke mic to your pc can be found at the website refered to here using the link PC_Karaoke
Having said that there are also newer mic that has the electrnics build right into the mic and then you connect the mic to the usb port of your pc.
