ortiz is good but.. he dont match up with vargas. vargas was a bigger puncher, he had better defense early in his career. vargas was more aggresive and smarter than ortiz. world champion at 21 !!

I love how merchant always tries to be right even when a fighter is telling them exactly how it is in the ring. Not how it is in merchants imagination of how he thinks things are.

Vargas had beautiful balance in his prime. He was very well-schooled, had good power and defense; but it was his balance that was impeccable.
