@eaelenei I dunno, I'm thinking I'm hearing a long E in there, but it is reeeally hard to tell. Its a great song regardless. If I'm not mistaken I think one of the twins wrote this one. Its easily in my top five favorites of their (or her depending on how you see it) songs.
I actually think she still says "curse these shackles that you put on me," but she slurred the part where she says "that you" so it almost sounds like "thatshu put on me." Not that it matters o just wanted to point it out :)
@inconsolablegirl Aw, look at us all apologetic and amicable. Hehe That's quite alright. I'm glad my slip-up made you realize this gem. I find myself periodically making this same change, now, when I play the song Woops :P
@musicaldramaqueen awe! sorry for jumping the gun ;P i must have just read your comment wrong! honestly, i didn't notice the change until i read your comment...so, thank you for your keen observation! otherwise, i would have completely missed it...well, at least the first 10 times i watched the video ; )
@inconsolablegirl Haha wow, actually, I was aware those were original lyrics and for some reason I really made it seem like I didn't :P Maybe I was referring to all the times I've listened to this particular video and never heard the lyric change. Honestly, I don't know why I say the things that I say. It was a nifty change, though, indeed.
@musicaldramaqueen the original line is "curse these shackles that YOU put on me..." though, personally, i am quite partial to this little impromptu rewrite. i would love to hear her be this forward (albeit subtle) about her sexuality more often...her voice is mighty and she is breath of fresh air for our community. she deserves much respect and praise for all the good that she does for this world.

Never realized she says "curse these shackles that she put on me..." at 2:20. Good girl, Brandi.
