Loggerhead Turtles feed mainly off jellyfish. Because of this, they are very suceptible to rubbish (ie plastic bags) that are thrown into the ocean. I saw one turtle behaving oddly and feared the worse (they usually die if they consume a bag) but infact this guy just had some fishing line wrapped round him and I was able to free him successfully. Unfortunatly the camera battery ran out too early! Ben

  • dude! WTF, you think you can rape a turtle and get away with it?

    you sick fuck!!!!!!

  • Which video were you watching mate? Think you need to get your eyes tested. I was watching the one where the turtle had fishing line wrapped around its neck and was drowning. Save your comments for someone else. Cheers,

    Ben

  • Did the turtle really have fishing line attached to it,or was that just an excuse for harassing it?You didn't look to concerned with its well being when you were playing with it in the water.

  • Hiya mate, thanks for commenting. I'm always concerned for the animal's welfare. Unless I'm trying to educate people or help a wild animal, I don't touch them and I certainly don't harass anything. But thanks for your concern. Yup he had some wire round his neck, looked like a wire fishing trace. These are unbelieveably powerful animals and it was taking all my strength just to hold him relativly upright in the water. I had to call in my good friend to assist with the wire itself. Thanks
