This is a model of the enterprise refit, from http://stblender.iindigo3d.com/ made by Dennis Bailey and converted by Eric M. Clark.
the textures are now all baked images(this took ages to complete^^) i also added special effects with the blender nodes and fixed smaller mesh issues, animation and rendering were also done by me.
as i said, i take no credit for the mesh, or the materials applied to it.

By baking the textures the rendertime was greatly reduced from a several minutes to a few seconds per frame, which makes this highly usable for animations.

there is an issue with the star background that didnt become visible until the animation was finished.
stay tuned for further updates.

  • SWEET!!!!!!!!!

This is by far the BEST Constitution Refit model I've ever seen!!!!

I know you didn't make the model, probably used that popular one that escapes my mind.

But the textures!!!! WOW! Great job! :D

  • The best model i´ve ever seen!!!

  • Man that's some cool looking cel shading graphics. Make me want to see a animated series with that design.

  • That is one sweet model! I downloaded that one myself last year & it's a blast to work with, (when I don't crash my computer)!

My only suggestion would be to make the shadows a little darker, for more dramatic effect.

  • This is fantastic. You even got the Aztec reflections on the hull!

  • Your flyby went a tad fast...I was suffering motion sickness *blarf*

    :D

    Nicely done, nonetheless!

  • I've been trying to do this for weeks now and i can't figure it out. How do you make a flashing light like at the begining of the video?

  • The very close fly by gives you a sense of how big the ship is.

  • this is one of the best tributes to the grand old lady i have ever seen.
