I don't really think you can claim the Ford guys sit back quietly because they know their stuff. 90% of the Ford fans I meet are ignorant, trash-talking, fanboys who know nothing about cars. Granted, there are fanboys on all sides though. And Canada made is pretty much American made, even Ford produces cars in Canada.
Other than that, you seem to be one of the few that are not completely ignorant and close minded. I agree 100% with you on the subject of torque. HP is not everything.
anyways, I'm done buying cars.. u guys want to keep racing for the most horsepower and squander your life's savings on all this stuff be my guest but in the long run you'll just have thrown a bunch of money in the furnace. this is my car for now, in the future I will probably be buying stuff for fuel economy, who knows. why do u keep telling me about mpg of a v6? like I said a v6 isn't the same as a V8 and wtf would I buy a chevy with a v6 it'd fall apart. still, 270 torque is not 341 torque.
Idk why someone decided to PM me about camaros. I don't buy Chevrolet stuff. If you want to impress me, don't do that. I like the car I bought, I'm not about to buy a camaro. Plus trucks are for hauling, not for speed. don't drive them like they are a sports car, you'll flip it over and wreck. I drove an F-150 for a couple years and I always drove it like a semi even though you don't have to. it is just safer to do so. I like Camaros fine but I didn't want to buy one. don't be thick.
Shane, to enlighten you.. no production model Camaro goes 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. Also the v6 camaro has more horsepower? are you kidding me? you guys ever hear of a thing called torque? A v6 camaro is suppose to do 0-60 in the neighborhood of 6.5 seconds. My mustang GT pushes out 341 torque and does it 0-60 in 5.3. You Chevy guys are silly and it is kinda odd when I come across a blowhard chevy person when all the ford people sit back quietly because we know our stuff.
I was amazed that Mustang out performs the Chevy on the slalom with this ficticious "state-of-the-art" suspension the Chevrolet is suppose to have. I'm glad I bought a Mustang. Good ol' Made in the USA (the other two of the big 3 are made in Canada, look at a VIN on a Camaro and you will see that it doesn't start with number 1. Number 1 USA IS #1. Canada is #2? lol. I like the Camaro but it's like slapping an american flag on a foreign car, oh wait..they have aveos still too -.-
1. The Ford GT is a super car, different class than the Camaro. 2. You 2011 Mustang fans must realize that Chevy will put out a Z28 Camaro right after the new mustang comes out just to top it. 3. The only Mustang that can top the Camaro is $55,000 Shelby GT500. Almost twice the price of the Camaro SS.
