What would you call these machines? I'm using fl studio and I use nexus which is something like that machine just computerised.

sounds nice for budget gear! and even the 505 is sounding great, you should record your sound with your audiocard.

you can also sequence it using an external sequencer for more ease (the MFB sequencer for example) or some drum computer etc
