They are amazing birds. Not only can they mimic words but they can mimic accents as well. Rear any crow or raven around people and it will learn to speak.

One of the most amazing moments of my life was at the Tower of London. My brother and I had smoked a fatty beforehand, and we were just relaxing on a bench when one of the ravens sauntered up, jumped on a railing next to us, and calmly wished us "Good morning". We were absolutely shocked, then we laughed and laughed, saying "Dude, did that just happen?" The laughing Chinese couple near us confirmed to us that they heard it too. True story!

So not only can it perfectly imitate human speech, but it does so in a distinct English accent? Brilliant!!
