http://scopitones.com/ for the best quality Scopitones on DVD, Free Downloads and more. What's A Scopitone? It's a "Film Jukebox" invented in France in the early 1960's (from surplus World War II airplane parts!) and also the films (the precursors of todays music videos) which played on it.

  • Just read about Scopitones in the intro to I WANT MY MTV. Never heard of them before. Pretty racy stuff, but it's a wholesome kind of sexy.

  • She better WORK!!! Campy and a Classic!!!

  • I dig Scopitone!

  • WOW!!!

  • I didn't realize that she was so good looking...or that they made "music films (?)" in the 60's...very cool!

  • I remember as a kid she came to our school in 1969 and read story books to the kids. She was a big advocate on learning to read.

  • Wow, she was a great singer. She never got the recognition that she TRULY deserves.

  • Sultry

  • when Gale sings at 1:40 "Packing the equipment for play" why does she look like she, is about to laugh her head off as she goes out the door.

  • @thedabaraHPL she is a kiwi ?? wow
